Mr. Rishik Agrawal, one of the directors of Craftarena Jewels (India) Private Limited is a young jeweler and a new-age diamantaire. Born in the family of jewelers, it was normal to develop curiosity to know about the secrets of the trade. He gradually gained hands-on experience of polishing diamond from rough crystal, to handcrafting tasteful jewellery.
He knows the nuances of using the traditional artistry and the modern-day technology. He believes in combining the time-tested techniques with a modern twist to deliver innovative products that stand out.
This venture is a perfect fit for him, leveraging on his passion for high-quality diamonds and jewellery coupled with his love for technology and advancements. He wants to disrupt the industry a-diamond-at-a-time and continue the lineage with the mantra of love, hope and faith.
Sheermark, a business unit of Craftarena Jewels (India) Private Limited was launched in the year twenty-nineteen to carry forward the diamond dream with this progressive and eco-conscious approach.
Sheermark diamonds are sensational with superlative quality. Just like mined diamonds, created diamonds vary significantly in their quality and value. Many undesirable traits are not on a grading report and not obvious to most of the people other than a diamond expert. We go beyond 4Cs to ensure that our diamonds are beautiful, icy white, have no milkiness, and a noticeably brighter appearance, even to the naked eye.

Even in the best conditions, gold mining is detrimental to the environment. It destroys forests, consumes vast amounts of water, and generates chemical pollution. From a human perspective, the consequences can be equally catastrophic, from hazardous working conditions to illicit mining and the funding of illegal activities. Labels such as Fairmined and Fairtrade have helped bring about considerable improvements to the human aspect of gold mining, but they concern only a tiny proportion of production – just a few kilograms a year – and cannot guarantee that cyanide and mercury – toxic chemicals that separate gold from rock – will not be used. No-one can blame the miners: recovering gold without them is a much slower, more complex process. What we can do, however, is to step back, think further, and choose an alternative for today and for the long term too.

Growing large high-quality diamonds is boutique and undergoes an expensive process which is extremely difficult and time consuming. Yet, most of our diamonds typically cost around a third of the mined equivalents because our prices are purely based on the market demand and supply, whereas mined diamond supply is an oligopoly using cartel pricing.
